Automatically roll over loans to Steward Regenerative Capital
Updated
by Steward Team
Any loan made to Steward Regenerative Capital (SRC) now has the option to automatically roll over the principal amount of the loan upon maturity, allowing your funds to continue to support regenerative agriculture without interruption.
How it Works
- Automatic rollover is available for Steward Regenerative Capital (SRC) loans only.
- Any newly created loans or loans in an active loan term are eligible for automatic rollover. Loans that have already matured cannot begin automatic rollover.
- Enabling automatic rollover will create a new loan with a new nine (9) month term, once the current loan matures.
- Interest for new loans created via automatic rollover starts accruing immediately.
- The SRC interest rate at the time of rollover will apply for the new nine month term.
- Automatic rollover is an opt-in feature. Loan principal will not roll over by default.
- Should you opt in for automatic rollover, only the principal value of your current loan will roll over and create the new loan. Any interest repayments will remain in your Steward Wallet.
- New loans created via automatic rollover will have this feature enabled by default, until you disable it.
- Automatic rollover can be disabled up until 30 days before the maturity date.
